April Showers

I made this page with the Digi Overdose kit April Showers. I have a couple more pictures I want to scrap with this kit. It was such a beautiful day when I took this picture. I'm getting spring fever. I'm so tired of this snow...

American Pride

I was finally able to make this page-President Obama with my boys. I'm pretty happy with it. I wish the picture had turned out better, but I was in a hurry that day!

Here it is. I made it with American Pride by Digi Overdose. I knew right when I saw the kit I had to have it for this picture. Oh, and the buttons are from Mandy Mystiques.

Jen from Chaos Lounge gave me this kit, Chic Shak, and it was really fun to use the greenery. I love using leaves on my pages. Check out Colin's smile...it was a phase...heh, heh...

Cajun Chicken Alfredo

This recipe is to die for. If you are a fan of any alfredo dishes, you will LOVE this.

CAJUN CHICKEN ALFREDO

8 oz linguine
4 Tblsp butter
2-3 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in bite size pieces
2 teaspooons McCormic Cajun seasoning
1/4 tsp ground blackpepper
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp salt
Dash of garlic powder
1 red pepper julienned
4-6 ounces fresh mushrooms sliced
2 cups heavy cream
4 Tblsp grated parmesan cheese

Coat chicken in cajun seasoning. Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken. Cook until no longer pink (7 min). Add red peppers and mushrooms. Cook for 3 more minutes. Reduce heat.



Stir in heavy cream. Season with spices. Add cheese. Toss with pasta.



Yay!! Enjoy!!

Found another scrapping site

Get Digi With It looks like another great site. I just did the template challenge. Here it is. I used paper from Kiki's Disney Kit and the rest of the papers/alpha/elements are from A Work in Progress (AWP) kits-Sopie, In the Pink and Pink coffee and cream.

I love this picture of Billy! It makes me laugh because Billy tries to be so tough! I love all the pink in this page, too!

This picture reminds me of how beautiful Tanja & Marshall's cottage is. It is almost paradise. I scrapped this for a challenge at Enchanted Studio Scraps. I finally figured out how to add the shadows on templates like this. Template is from Brenda Smith and kit is from A Work in Progress.
